It's Time
It's time...I need to join the ranks of teacher bloggers. I want to be able to add to the amazing dialogue and marketplace of ideas that I rely on and need so much! More to come!
I've been teaching 11 years in a small rural district in Ohio. After a few years in third, an opening came up and I dove headlong into first and found my heart's delight. My school is amazing because so many of my students are farm kids- makes life science a breeze to teach- and we're near Lake Erie along a major migratory path, birdwatchers come from all over in the spring. Teaching can be all-consuming, and I try to keep in balance by jogging, hula-hooping and doing yoga for body-fitness, reading and taking classes for mind-fitness and stretching my creativity for spirit-fitness. Oh- my Happy Hubby and my two little Bichon Frises keep me laughing and filled with love. My motto is 'Life is Good.'
Wow! That is so awesome that you had a kangaroo visit your classroom! Welcome to blogging, i'm new out there too!
